Development of the Lower Columbia River Water Trail has been a community, volunteer driven project. While, the Lower Columbia River Estuary Partnership has been the glue that has held the project together, providing staff time, funding and coordination, volunteers have also contributed hundreds of hours of time to the project. In addition, support from state and federal agencies has critical.

Thanks to a few of the individuals who have been very involved in the trail’s development.
