Chinook Landing is a 67-acre marine park with a six-lane public boat ramp, picnic area with a large parking lot, flush restroom, a seasonal river patrol station, and connections to Portland's 40 mile loop trail. The site also includes interpretive signage, mainly about the nearby wetlands. Lewis and Clark likely stopped near the site.

Additional Launch Site Information
Environmental Considerations:

Please be respectful of nearby wetland complexes.

Safety Considerations:

There are wing dams off shore, strong currents, and heavy recreational use of the area during the motorboating season. All six ramp lanes launch into a relatively small cove; be aware of other boaters.
